FDA to require brochure with the pill

The FDA says birth control pill users will soon receive a brochure from pharmacists detailing the hazards and benefits of the medication. Drug companies would supply the pamphlet to pharmacists who would enclose one with every new or renewed prescription, making such information more accessible beyond a doctor’s note.

Cornell High Homecoming Dance Set

The Cornell High homecoming dance will run 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday Dec 11 at the high school with The Dynamics of Ottawa providing music. Crowning of King and Queen at 10 p.m. will be open to attendees with a small donation. Candidates for king and queen are seniors Karen Gourley Cheryl Hatter Val Johnson Kathy Schmidt Brian Barton Bob Brace Mark Garretson James Russaw. Attendants listed from each class. Homecoming committee members include Gourley Hatter Virginia Gaston Kelly Wallace Schmidt. Event sponsored by the Student Council with Brian Barton as president and Mrs Becky Harlan and Kurt Lauritzen as advisors. The dance is open to the public.
