Edith Kaiser 66 of Geneva and formerly of Pontiac died Saturday at Community Hospital Geneva. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday at Yurs Wittenburg Funeral Home Geneva with Rev Frank Joyner officiating. Graveside rites 1 p.m. Tuesday Memorial Park Cemetery near Pontiac. Born Aug 21 1907 in Cullom daughter of Maurice and Ida Jensen. Surviving Edward husband Pontiac son Gary Charleston S C two brothers Wesley Denver Cole and two sisters Vera Gordon Port Charlotte Fla and Ethel Pasadeau West Chicago and three grandchildren. Memorials to Calvary Baptist Church of Geneva suggested.

Nature Club sights 116 species of birds

Cullom Nature Club finished its 1973 Autumn Bird Census with 116 species seen from Sept 1 to Nov 30. The final report noted a petrel seen at Mrs. Rosina Brydon's home as the most unusual sight, with other rare species including a red cross bill grebe and a woodcock. Reports came from a 20 mile radius including Bork's Woods Saunemin Emington Chatsworth and Kempton as members documented evergreens in the census.
