The annual Wayne County picnic was held at Chautauqua Park with a noon basket dinner. Prizes went to youngest Cynthia Durham of Pontiac and oldest Joe Taylor of Pontiac. greatest distance traveled to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Leathers of Cisne. Managers included Henry Moore and local Durhams and States from Pontiac.
Chance Fitzgerald of Mendota was elected president at the seventh Fitzgerald family reunion held at Chauthuquad Park Sunday with 75 members present. Mrs. Lucille Dexter of Mendota was elected secretary treasurer and Mrs. Veronica Nowak presided. The oldest attendee was Mrs. Néll Fitzgerald of Utica and the youngest was Michael Joseph, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fitzgerald of Pontiac. The next reunion will be the last Sunday in July at Lake Mendota.
Bids will be received at the Livingston County Sheriff Office Pontiac Illinois until August 26 1963 at 10 A M for furnishing and installing combination aluminum storm windows and screens for the Sheriff Residence at the County Jail. Bid for both double track and triple track windows. Specifications available at the Sheriff office. Committee reserves right to reject any or all bids.
