Maj. Douglas K. Rhodes, chief of information at Chanute Technical Training Center, addressed the Pontiac Rotary Club detailing a leaner, more professional Air Force. Graymont correspondent reports 23 former pupils and teachers gathered at the High Rise in Pontiac for a basket dinner on Monday evening August 4 with Claude Pampel at the piano. Next year’s reunion is set for the first Monday of August. Overnight guests included Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson and Mrs. Betty Golden and family from Detroit. 85 attendees came from area towns and Huntsville, Alabama, to the Schott reunion at Chenoa park. The Personaires plan to move from Centralia to Freeport where he will teach music at Highland Community College.
