Polk County SPCA advances toward new South Houston St facility
Volunteers led by Carl Feren push toward occupancy at the Polk County SPCA site on Hwy 146 South Mary Street. Work includes painting doors brackets for water bowls and installing a bath station as they await inspector approval and animal relocation from the Hwy 190 complex. The center seeks volunteers and 300 Club backers to fund operations until opening six days a week.
