Prayer garden rising at Goodrich church grounds
Goodrich First United Methodist Church begins a new prayer garden project on Loop 393 in downtown Goodrich. Janet Halford sparked the idea, with a team clearing rose bushes and poison ivy, leveling the area, adding gravel and rocks, and installing a Ring of Memory with deceased members' names and a kneeling iron section. The public may visit after completion, and a front sign will invite travelers to stop and pray.
