At The End of the Rainbow seniors close school year
The senior class closed their high school career with the class play At the End of the Rainbow last Friday night. A crowded house praised the presentation and the seniors’ efforts on their closing day. Senator J H Allen visited town Saturday en route to Webster City to give an address the next day. Teachers dispersed for summer with four applying for another year and reelected, while others planned new arrangements, some to pursue training elsewhere.

Mrs. G N Tuttle Passes After Operation
The community learned Monday that Mrs. Gordon Tuttle had undergone an operation and had little chance of recovery. She died early yesterday morning. Known as Gladys Manatt from her brief marriage, her funeral is set for 2:30 PM Friday at the Methodist Church.

Francis Maynard Grossnickle son of Mr and Mrs M B Grossnickle was born near Laurens Iowa on October 18 1910 and died June 3 1915 at age four years seven months and fifteen days He attended the Busy Bee Sunday school class under Mrs T A Robinson and despite illness the last Sunday of his life he wished to attend Sunday school. He was loved as a jewel in the family and by many outside the home.
