Evelena Yazzie Wins Utah State Fair Indian Princess Title
Evelena Yazzie was crowned Indian Princess at the Utah State Fair last Saturday. She competed with ten other contestants from across the state, each in colorful Indian costumes. Evelena received a trophy a crown and Lift certificates. She is the daughter of Teddy and [unsure] Yazzie of Craibl Arizona and foster daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Lyle Thacker of Pleasant Grove.
