Pleasant Grove Jaycees Float Wins Five Trophies at Parades
Pleasant Grove Jaycees celebrate their float builders Leland and Rosemary Carter and LeRoy and Betty Mitchell for winning first place at Strawberry Days Murray Magna and Days of 47 and earning grand prize in Orem along with most beautiful float. The group also earned five trophies across eight parades signaling a record run. An engraved plaque honors the couples. A Canyon Party barbecue and potluck followed. A Jaycee Club House orientation is set for Sept 4 at 8 p.m. with Frank Tremen as guest speaker.
