Sewer Construction Men Saved From Injury in Pleasant Grove
Two construction workers were rescued from a cave in a sewer trench on Seventh East by Floyd Adams and John Woodson. As the trench side began to collapse, Adams and Woodson jumped in from above and held the soil, freeing Andy Bowman and Anthony Falsone who were buried up to their shoulders but with heads free.

Brent Bullock Graduates From Weber State Police Class
Brent Bullock of Pleasant Grove Police Department joined the nine Utah county officers who graduated from Weber State College basic police training. Lindon Drills Third Well for Growth Needs
Lindon City completed its No 3 well at a taxpayer cost of 16780. Eldon Comer and Sons Drilling Co of Lehi served as contractors with George Robinson operating. The 472 foot well has two sixteen inch casings, 2700 gpm capacity, and required 30 days to drill located at 8th North and 2nd East.
