Provo Temple Open for Public Showing January 10 to 29
The First Presidency announced public showings for new temples in Ogden and Provo Utah. Ogden Temple viewing runs December 16 to 30 with Christmas Day excluded and dedications January 18 19 20 in multiple daily sessions. Overflow seating will be in the Ogden Tabernacle. Provo Temple showings begin January 10 with further details provided.

Legion Post 70 Americ an Legion and Auxiliary held the annual Armistice Day banquet at Galerie Reception Center in American Folk last Wednesday evening. The boys reported on Boys State activities while Grant Fugal praised Utah State University program. Commander Holt gave the welcome along with remarks from Mrs Don B Walker Auxiliary president. Boyd L Fugal delivered a brief Patriotism talk.

Police Chief Mike Ferre summarized a busy period for Pleasant Grove with 133 overtime hours over two months. In early November 45 traffic stops and 11 accidents including one fatality were logged, plus 15 arrests and several public intoxication and illegal possession cases.
