Veterans Day Observed Quietly in Pleasant Grove
Pleasant Grove marked the Armistice centennial with two noticeable tributes. The Post Office closed for the day and Main Street bore American flags funded by the Chamber of Commerce with Legion Post 70 members posting and retiring them. Robert Hansen led this year’s patriotic service as a World War I veteran. A Veterans Day dinner by Post 70 American Legion and Unit 70 Auxiliary complemented the observance.
