The Sunshine committee of the First ward Relief society honored Mrs. Eleanor West, one of its oldest members, at a Thursday afternoon party at her home. George Heber Clark 87 pioneer resident of Pleasant Grove died at home Sunday at 5 30 p m born October 11 1853 in this community son of George Sheffer and Susanah Dalley Clark one of the first seven families to settle here He aided his father in establishing business houses and residences and helped haul stone for the Salt Lake temple and Clark Opera House Surviving are six children two spouses and three brothers plus 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
