Jolene Walker of Lindon won Pleasant Grove Rodeo Queen 1976 from 14 Utah contestants. Debra Wilkins and Gayla Walker named first and second attendants. The trio will lead Strawberry Days activities June 10 to 12, with tours, parades, and events across Utah County including a visit with Governor Rampton and President Spencer W. Kimball.

Pleasant Grove Seminary plans graduation exercises Friday May 21 at 6 p.m. at the Timpanogos Stake Center. 61 graduates will receive diplomas. 3 will receive certificates of achievement. The Grove Stake ceremony follows at 6 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Stake Center with 74 graduates and 4 other stakes represented.

City Council Meets With Mayor Presiding on 200 South Well
The city council held a regular session Tuesday evening with all members present and Mayor Haynie presiding. Consulting engineer Lee Wimmer reported the 200 south well progress, approved a progress payment for the driller, and noted the well depth around 570 feet with a good water supply found.
