Sandi Christensen won the 77 Jr Rodeo Queen title judged by Barbara Owen of American Folk. First attendant Kaylene Richins and second attendant Lisa Wood were named, with several Lindon and Pleasant Grove contestants noted. the trio will join Strawberry Days royalty and attend the rodeo queen luncheon and nightly presentations.

Governor proclaims May 8 through 14 as Hospital Week in Utah to honor hospitals and staff for enduring care and modern treatment.
