Allen Pederson Dies After Illness in Pleasant Grove
Allen S Pederson 55 died Thursday morning following a long illness. He was born November 1, 1882 in Taylorsville to Benoni and Eva Josephine Pederson. A World War I veteran and carpenter, he lived mainly in Oasis Draper and Pleasant Grove. He married Emily Anderson in 1926. survivors include his widow four sons and daughters and three brothers. Funeral arrangements set by Olpin Mortuary.

Funeral Held for LaVar Ahlstrom Drowned in Canal
Funeral services were held Thursday April 24 for LaVar Ahlstrom seven, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reno Ahlstrom. George Paul led the service with schoolchildren and local clergy, with interment at Pleasant Grove City cemetery. Dozens of relatives from Kanosh Delta Provo and beyond attended the funeral and related services.

Relatives and friends gathered Monday at Olpin Mortuary to honor William Bi Conroy 72 who died Thursday at his son Edmond Conroy’s home in London. Services included prayers, music by a ladies quartet and piano pieces, with interment at Pleasant Grove City cemetery. Born in Dublin on July 12 1874 he lived in Minnesota and California before settling with his son Lindon Utah. survived by widow a daughter three sons and grandchildren.

Services Held For Parley Edwards In Lindon
Funeral services for Parley Edwards 71 of Lindon were held in the Charleston ward chapel with Bishop Alroy Gillman speaking. Edwards born May 17 1875 in Mill Creek served as Wasatch County commissioner and assessor, married twice, and left a large family including 11 children and two great grandchildren. About 75 sixth graders from Central School toured Salt Lake City on May 1. Accompanied by Mrs. Edna Newman, Mrs. Lois West, acting principal Calvin Walker, and room mothers, they planned visits to the Capitol Building and tabernacle grounds. Mary Peterson Olsen 89 died Monday at her daughter Kathryn Woolley’s home in Washington DC. Born July 1 1807 in Salt Lake City she married Louis Olsen in 1875. She was chaplain of the Washington chapter of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and survived by six children, 28 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral Thursday at 2 in Windsor ward chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
