Larry Shelton Called to LDS Mission Field in Columbia SC
Elder Larry Shelton son of Audra and Glen Shelton of the Manila Ward has been called to an LDS Mission in Columbia South Carolina. His farewell is Sunday March 27 at 3 p.m. in the Manila Ward Sacrament meeting before entering the mission home on April 23. He has served as Priests group leader, president of his Teachers quorum, and Explorer group leader with a 1000 mile bike trek from Manassas Virginia to Orlando Florida. He was voted most valuable player in basketball for Oakton Stake in Virginia.

Thomas King to be honored on 90th birthday
Thomas King born in Wishford England to William and Matilda King turns 90 on Friday March 26. He is the sole surviving of nine siblings. seven moved to America. King served in WWI at Camp Lewis and joined the LDS Church. He resides with his daughter Marilyn Hreinson and son-in-law Chris in Lindon and will be feted by family at the Lions Club in Lindon.
