Niels Fugal was elected vice president of the Alpine School District Board of Education at its regular meeting replacing Clarence Ashton after his home was annexed into Provo School District. The Board approved teacher attendance at conventions with five district business teachers to attend the Western Business Education Association convention April 17–19 in Salt Lake City and six district representatives to the Association of Childhood Education International convention April 21–26 in Los Angeles.
