Craig William Schow a senior at Pleasant Grove High School won top place at the 1969 Greater Ula Science Fair held at Brigham Young University. More than 160 students from cities south of Salt Lake City competed. He earned an expense paid trip to the 20th International Science Fair in Fort Worth Texas May 3-9.

McCormicks Named Beautification Committee Co-Chairs

The appointment was approved by the City Council after a recommendation by City Councilman Jesse K Thorne. Timp Stake Quarterly Conference Dates Set

Timpanogos Stake will hold its quarterly conference this weekend with President Boyd L. Fugal presiding. A leadership meeting is scheduled for Saturday night and a general session for all members and visitors Sunday at 10 a.m. Attendance lists include stake presidency, high council, clerks, bishoprics, ward clerks, priesthood quorums, unit leaders, and ward auxiliaries.

Singing Mothers to Spotlight Friday Night at Timpanogos Stake

Relief Society will sponsor Moments to Remember a musical program by Singing Mothers of the Timpanogos Stake on Friday March 21 at 7 30 pm in the Stake House. Eleven wards contribute special choral numbers with the Stake Mothers singing one piece and a final combined performance. More than 200 women participate with directors Alton Ekins and Leslie Rees guiding the event. Elma Fugal writes and narrates the script while Alta Mae Johnson stages 12 tableaux.
