Heat Sets Record As Weather Warms in P. G

Pleasant Grove reports a March 7 high of 67 degrees, the warmest since records began. The week also saw a low of 17 on March 2 and 0.10 inches of precipitation, with unsettled but improving conditions forecast. Range Ride Set For Weekend in Utah County

The 1960 Range Ride will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, sponsored by the State Fish and Game Department and the Sportsmen Associations of North Utah County. Art Henderson announced the event to study range conditions and conduct the annual spring deer count. Riders meet at 9 am at Orem City Park and at Grove Creek Canyon in Pleasant Grove. All experienced mountain riders are invited.
