Darold Henry Named 3-A Coach of the Year
Pleasant Grove High School coach Darold Henry was chosen by area coaches as 3-A Coach of the Year after leading the Vikings to a strong wrestling season. His teams have won three state titles and two runner-ups, with multiple state champions produced. Henry, father of three, serves as a teacher and LDS church leader, and he credits the coaching staff and townspeople for the program’s success.

Vikings Take Second In 3-A Wrestling Meet
Pleasant Grove placed second and earned the silver trophy at the 3-A State Tournament in Salt Lake City led by state champions Craig Walker at 119 pounds and Tim Hoffer at 185 pounds. Walker defeated Uintah’s Eugene Woody in the final, remaining undefeated on the season.
