Mary J L Cooper Rites Held In Ogden
Funeral services for Mary J L Cooper longtime Pleasant Grove resident were held June 26 at Linguist and Sons Colonial Chapel Ogden. Burial followed in Sandy cemetery. Born October 26 1672 in Eppervale South Wales she came to Utah as a child and lived in Sandy West Jordan Pleasant Grove and Ogden. She served as assistant county recorder 1922 24 postmaster at Pleasant Grove 1924 26 and later held church and civic roles in Alpine Stake Ogden. Surviving son Albert L Cooper two daughters Amy and Mary Leone and two grandchildren. Local attendees included Margaret Holdaway Reed Crystal and others.
