Second Ward Court of Honor Friday July 2 awarded top honors to Darrell Beveridge of Pigivuy Eagle patrol who earned a full Set aaniform. Jed Pritchett and Flyine Easle Patrol won attendance and advancement. Jed and Joshoh received official Shoot Shirts. Robert Roberts led Beaver Patrol with first aid kit for his team. members Kay Peterson Glen Robinson Dolchi Jolley Russell Joller Paul Lingistrom and Charles Lindstrom also listed. Honor Roll: Raymond Hanson Enlists in Navy
Raymond Hanson son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Hanson of Pleasant Grove left last Tuesday for Farragut Idaho to begin U S Navy training. He enlisted at Provo Utah on July 3 1943 prior to induction he worked at his father's shoe shop and was a local high school student planning to enter radio or aviation after preliminary training at Farragut Idaho.

Mothers Club Honors Past Officers At Dinner
Last Thursday in the First Ward recreation hall the Mothers Club honored outgoing officers at a well arranged dinner. National colors adorned the hall. Following dinner the group returned to the club president’s home for table games. Oral Wright won first prize and May Jensen the consolation prize. Honored guests included Fern Smith and Venace Merrill. New officers named were Ethel Penton president Eva Adams vice president and Kate Jacobs secretary. The dinner was sponsored by the First Ward Relief Society.

Rod Rodriguez kept PG to two hits with ten strikeouts as the Jeeps built an early lead. Leroy Lawson doubled in two in the fourth. Ray and Jones scored on a squeeze in the fifth.
