Mrs Selina M Marrott 85 widow of Arthur Marrott died at her daughter Mrs Harriet Backus home Monday from causes incident to age. Born November 24 1859 in Provo she married November 25 1880 in Salt Lake Endowment House. Survived by 9 of 12 children 59 grandchildren 74 great grandchildren and two sisters. Active L D S member and Relief Society teacher. Funeral Friday at 2 pm Windsor Ward Chapel. Burial Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Burial arrangements noted.

Winters wounded again in Europe in Belgium service
Private Norman Winters, son of Mr and Mrs A R Winters, has been wounded in action in Belgium and is in a U S Army hospital in England. He previously received a Purple Heart for wounds on August 22 1944, returned to active duty October 1944. A Pleasant Grove High School 1943 graduate, he worked for Utah Power and Light Co before enlisting in October. He trained at Champ Roberts California and has an overseas assignment in Maryland and Shelby Mississippi.
