Hans Christensen Dies at Home in American Fork
Hans Christensen 87 of American Fork died at home after an illness. Born April 7, 1869 in American Fork to Hans and Marian Jorgensen Christensen. Married Sarah Spratley Dee May 20, 1894 in Salt Lake Temple. Surviving wife, one son Marion H Christensen American Fork, one daughter Arvilla Harvey Pleasant Grove, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Seventh Second LDS Ward chapel. Burial American Fork Cemetery.

The Pleasant Grove Jaycees and Gems hosted their annual Christmas Party at a local cafe on Wednesday December 19. Gem officers planned the event with invitations from Mrs Kenneth Shoell and favors by Mrs Jack Lee entertaining by Don Hales as MC. After dinner, games awarded prizes to guests including Mr and Mrs Holly Maxfield. Santa visited, distributed gifts, and led carols before dancing the rest of the evening.
