Alpine Adult Education Announces Two Early January Classes

The Alpine School District offers two adult education classes beginning January 5 and January 7. LaVere J. Wadley will teach the Monday start class at American Park High School from 6 to 9 pm four nights weekly, serving both beginners and advanced students. Phoebe Innes will instruct the Women’s Physical Education class at Lehi Elementary School starting January 7 at 7 30 pm with a nominal fee. The complete schedule will appear next issue.

March of Dimes Names Utah County Head for 1959 Drive

Mrs. Helens Pamther wife of American Fork City and Precinct Justice Thomas R Parker was named Utah County chairwoman for the 1959 March of Dimes drive Glen R Brows president of the local chapter said the drive will include a Blue Crutch Day and a county wide Mothers Mate among other fund raising events The organization expands to a broader health front with goals including antisbirth defects and birth disorders and will not abandon polio patients. Mrs Parker serves as Republican head and Latona Music Club president and is a mother of five. She urged strong support from Utah County for the foundation's expanded program and care for polio patients.
