More Cement Pipe For Aqueduct To Be Built At Pleasant Grove
Carl B. Warren of Spokane owner of the Pleasant Grove concrete pipe plant won a government contract to supply pipe for the Salt Lake aqueduct. The project includes 13,000 feet and about 7.9 miles more pipe, with total expenditure near 1.2 million dollars if both schedules proceed. Construction may start within 80 days of government go ahead, with pipe units 20 feet long and 69 inches inside diameter. Projects aim to complete 104 miles of aqueduct and four miles of high head pipeline by June 1945 to prevent drought.

Old Folks of P. G Manila to Be Entertained Saturday
On Saturday February 12 the Old Folks of the three Messant Grove wards and Manila Ward will gather in the First Ward Chapel and Recreation Hall. City Fire Department Offers First Aid Course
