Citizens have long proposed purchasing Baxter property to open the street for a district, with no action yet. New seating fits two rows for officers and visitors, improved choir seating, space for piano and organ, and a movable floor section enables a 14 foot stage for entertainments. Second Ward Primary Officers and Teachers Stage Entertaining Evening
The Second Ward Primary association officers and teachers held a successful entertainment at the tabernacle. The first acts depicted four generations with Bertha Gray as great grandmother and others portraying their roles, drawing memories. The show closed with a burlesque on husbands, while Mabel Swenson spoke on Womens Rights and Betty and Bunny performed between acts.
