James Urban Colvin died at 4 p m Friday in Lehi hospital after a six week illness from rheumatism. Born July 5 1911 in Alton Utah he married Verda Nelson August 27 1930 in the Salt Lake temple. Surviving are wife son Robert H two years mother Elizabeth Colvin half brother Isaac Carling and brother Arlan Colvin plus two sisters. Funeral Sunday at 2 p m in the Third Ward Chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p m in the Second ward chapel for Minnie Christensen Curtis who was killed in an accident on the state highway early Tuesday. H Robertson presided, with invocation by George Richards. Speakers included Mary Pulley Ernest Seastrand M S Christiansen. Musical numbers featured solos by Clements and Marley Steale and a duet by Viola Beers and Stella Hardman. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the grave dedicated by Joseph Terry.
