The Howard Construction Co. of Salt Lake City won the bid for Pleasant Grove High School at $1,869,800. Ten bids ranged up to $1,828,000. Groundbreaking is near, with completion set for Sept. 1, 19b. Don Cramp's Viking basketball team dominated the George Albert Smith Fieldhouse, opening league play with a decisive 61-47 win to move atop the region standings.
