Old Kris Kringle will help Pleasant Grove merchants and Jaycees for a large Christmas give away Friday evening in downtown Pleasant Grove. The event includes a free morning show, candy and nuts for children, and a massive gift distribution starting at 6 pm. Local organizations and numerous merchants have donated prizes, with judges awarding 15 10 and 5 dollar prizes in a home lighting contest.

Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Pearl O Whitehead
Funeral services were held last Saturday at 1:30 pm for Mrs. Pearl Olin Whitehead who died earlier in the week at her home from a heart ailment. The service at the ward chapel featured a male quartet, readings, and tributes from J. A. West and David Gourley. Interment followed in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery with Olpin Mortuary directing.
