The Norton family will break ground Monday at Third South and Main for a new Norton Food Center facility. Ron Norton said the project will finally happen after 17 years with the ground owned by the family. The 6 p.m. ceremony invites all to attend and bring a shovel to help.

District Ten Riding Clubs Set Annual Meet in Utah
District Ten Riding Clubs plan a two day event in American Fork and Pleasant Grove on August 13 and 14. The meet features team barrel races potato races ribbon pulls and roping events plus chariot and water races. County urges rabies clinics across Utah County
Utah County Commissioners have urged rabies vaccination clinics in cooperation with the Utah Valley Veterinary Medical Association. The UVMA runs vaccination clinics with communities to help residents meet local dog and cat rabies ordinances. Owners of cats are asked to vaccinate promptly. a rabid bat risk is noted. A clinic is set for Saturday August 14 from 8 to 12 noon, contact local veterinarians.
