Intermountain Giftmakers to Open Soon in Industrial Park

Intermountain Giftmakers plans production at a 10,000 square foot Linden plant in London’s Lakeview Industrial Park by September 1. Formed Jan 1 1976 from the Family Tree House and The Knot House merger, plus Jackman Art Glass purchase. Lynn Mathie presides from Salt Lake City with Ray Clements as executive VP from Pleasant Grove. Other officers include Bill Mathie and Bill Jackman, plus Joe Livingstone. Products will feature pressed leaded glass flowers, stained glass, Our Family Tree items, driftwood novelties, Story Gloves, and macrame.

Mary Ann Johnson of Pleasant Grove, Strawberry Days Queen, enters the Miss Utah County contest at Spanish Fork High School Wednesday 7:30 pm. Twelve city queens compete in the largest Utah County Scholarship Pageant, with talent dance by Johnson and judging on talent beauty and personality. tickets $1.50 at door or via Johnson. New Student Registration Window Announced for August

The school outlines dates for new student registration from August 15 to 19 with a later August 22 to 24 fee payments and orientation in the auditorium. Utah County Fair Opens in Spanish Fork Next Thursday

Utah County Fair runs August 17 to 20 in Spanish Fork with 7:00 to 10:00 am entry, judging at 10:00 am, and public exhibition. Kindergarten Registration Set For Alpine District Aug 19

Alpine School District announces kindergarten registration for all previously registered and new students in the new attendance area on Friday August 19 1977 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Immunization records are required under Utah law four DPT shots polio measles and rubella doses. A City County Health Department clinic at 107 South 100 East Provo operates Monday to Friday for immunizations. Birth certificates may be needed and attendance begins August 25 1977.
