Funeral Services Held For Judy Blaine Hall Infant
Touching services were held Tuesday for Judy Blaine Hall infant daughter of George and Shirley Hall. The ceremony at 12 noon in the Weta nave chapel featured Bishop Reed O Walker in charge and tributes from community members and former Timpanogos Stake Seminary students. Pallbearers included Donald Hall Norman Hall Glen Hall and Howard Deitlat with interment at Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.

200 Books Collected In Pleasant Grove Library Drive
American Legion Auxiliary collected over 200 books for the Pleasant Grove Library in a recent drive. Many people offered more books to contribute later. Those with books to donate may contact Mrs L P Harvey to arrange pickup and delivery. Books from last week are catalogued and will be available to the public.

The American Legion and Auxiliary held a Pan American and Child Welfare meeting in the Third Ward Recreation Hall on April 20 at 8 o'clock. Commander Hilton outlined the cancer drive, Mrs. Margaret Johnson spoke on Child Welfare through religion, Auxiliary President Vella Liston urged support for a book drive for Pleasant Grove Worary and Strawberry Day. Special music and dances by BYU students in native costume entertained, with refreshments coordinated by Mrs. M D Radmall.

The Griffin Bakery in Pleasant Grove, located off Main Street on First South, has new management after A. B. Gore of Springville purchased the business from LeRoy Griffin. Gore, his son, and daughter in law Mr and Mrs J D Gore take charge this week, install new equipment, and will bake at the Pleasant Grove Bakery now renamed Gore Bakery. The fountain and cafe will operate 11 am to 10 pm, with Sunday hours implied.

Last Rites For A Lee Harper In Salt Lake City
Relatives and friends gathered at the First Ward Chapel to pay respects to A Lee Harper who died April 20 from injuries in an auto accident.
