Scout-O-Rama Planned in American Fork for Three Cities

Mountain Bell toll charge to Orem stopped
The Utah Public Service Commission issued an order on April 14 1972 establishing Extended Area Service toll free between Orem and Pleasant Grove. Mountain Bell had petitioned for approval February 7 and the case was heard March 8. Starting April 28 residents with 225 or 785 prefixes can call without long distance charges, saving about 40700 annually. Pleasant Grove monthly rates rise slightly for one two party and business lines to fund the larger toll free area.
