Nature Plays Freak Stunts With Miniature Cyclone in Pleasant Grove
A small scale cyclone was observed in Pleasant Grove Sunday about 4:30 p m. It swept Tyerson Hill in Manila and toppled a chicken coop at Kenneth Meredith’s farm, damaged a tent at Gil ward channel grounds, and blew down a telephone pole near Warnick Swenson Lane. High water raised Grove Creek, narrowing the old gravel pit west of Frank Atrood’s home. The event faded as quickly as it began, causing no major injuries or lasting damage.
