Timpanogos stake will hold regular quarterly conference Sunday after Easter week with Reed or other apostles representing the general authority. The schedule includes a boy scout honor event, a musical program, choir offerings, and a symphony under Prof Robertson. The public is invited to attend all services.
The Timpanogos stake will hold its annual banquet tonight at the Second Ward Chapel. A. Clark and Estelle Fenton lead the groups in organizing. Emily Wright is in charge of the banquet. Edna is in charge of the program. About 150 plates have been sold. A program including a string trio Lavona Jensen, Mar Lajones, L. A. Clark, Mrs. Anderson, and others will follow at 7 30 with the banquet served at 8. The program features readings songs and talks plus a toastmaster Le A. Clark.
The Third Ward Chapel hosts a 7 am Easter Sunday service featuring Easter Morning song, invocation by George L. Nielson, organ music by Mrs. Mary Neves, kindergarten and primary Easter songs, Scripture reading by George Paul classes, a Retold Easter Story by Mrs. Lycan Johnson, string music by Mrs. Leland Clark and others, an Easter talk by David Gourley, and a closing benediction by Farnest Clayton.
Junius A. West was sustained bishop of the Pleasant Grove First Ward with Elgin Thorne and Harold Bullock as counselors. The stake presidency directed the ward bishopric reorganization, with retiring officers C. A. Garnett Louis Olpin and H. W. Jacobs speaking of their service.
Secretary of Agriculture Henry A. Wallace has tentatively approved a 48 marketing agreement for red sour cherries for canning and cold packing. A 16 member control committee would set minimum prices and districts gain representation. For Utah, C. L. Wright and J. M. Ramsay chair producer and processor roles with alternates.
Pleasant Grove residents and visitors attend weddings, teas, showers, charity events, and hospital visits. Notable items include Flora Hooley's appendicitis surgery at Aird Hospital Provo, a library fundraiser dance with Carter’s Orchestra, and multiple family and church social gatherings across Pleasant Grove, Provo, Lindon, and surrounding cities.
Funeral services for Emma Freestone Beers were held in Pleasant Grove with speakers and solos honoring her long life. The service noted her role as a devoted mother and home maker, with interment at Pleasant Grove cemetery. Beers survived by six children and several brothers, with burial directed by Bishop Frank Atwood.

Arbor day observed at city ball park with about seventy five men directed by the Chamber of Commerce leveling low spots and improving the race track. A navy coxswain Neilson visits Pleasant Grove from the Battle Fleet in San Francisco to see his parents. A fire at Frederick Kopp in Manila destroys chicken coops and house from an oil brooder stove explosion. Birth announced for baby boy to Mr and Mrs Winfield Hurst of Zurich Montana formerly Miss Arvilla Thorne. The Greaner Girls host the M Men at a burlesque chicken dinner. Ward officers and Relief Society entertain at the County Infirmary in Provo with program, refreshments and a dance. Young Mother's club plans to solicit library books door to door in Pleasant Grove.
