The Second Ward Relief Society held a sale at the Salt Lake City site to raise funds for kitchen utensils. Mrs Millie Poulson and Miss Vida Conway chaired the cook and purchasing committees. proceeds support the society’s luncheon and equipment for service to about 150 guests. The Windsor Ward club also began its year with a meeting at Mr Gillman’s home, led by Mrs Orill Man.

Pleasant Grove high school dominated the Alpine district track meet at Lincoln last Friday. Senior Ross Brinley led with 1434 points, earning the high point medal, as Pleasant Grove scored 101.5 points to Lincoln 51.5, American Fork 43, and Lehi 20. Lehi won the posture parade, while Pleasant Grove won the junior high parade.
