Smallpox vaccinations will be given to Pleasant Grove High School students and interested residents next Tuesday April 16 from 10 to 12 AM at the high school. Principal Karl Banks says the vaccine cost is 25 cents. The move follows a Pacific Coast smallpox epidemic prompting Utah guidance. Funeral Held Friday for Parsons Richards
Funeral services were conducted Friday for Parsons Richards with Bishop Lowie presiding. The service included remarks by Ezra F Walker and J A We, musical interludes, and a dedication prayer by Samuel Strong. Burial followed at Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Olpin Bros directed. Attending out of town were relatives from Los Angeles, Shelley, Salt Lake City, Eureka, Alpine, Spanish Fork, Heber, Midvale, and Denver.

M Men-Gleaner Banquet Set for April 17 in Pirsp Ward
The M Men Mid Gleaners of Timpanogas State plan their annual banquet and dance at Pirsp Ward Recreation Hall on Wednesday April 17 at 7 30 p m with dinner by the American Legion Auxiliary and dancing to follow. Ward representatives and officers will be elected for next year. Horace J Christensen of the Social Security Office will visit Pleasant Grove April 17 at City Hall for interviews and information. The Merrymakers Club held a pot luck supper with Rummy Royal as the evening’s game.

The Hilton family and companions return from a month abroad in Hawaii. The party includes Mr and Mrs Abel Bhivs and baby and Gerald Taylor's family from Lehi. They joined in Oahu and Maui with LDS workers and attended the IOS conference at Oalustake with stake president Ralph Wooley.
