Four Girls First in PI Grove Strawberry Days Queen Contest
Four entrants Bonnie Bullock Marilyn Houtz Elaine Lowe and Cassie Stubbs lead the 1968 Strawberry Days Queen Pageant in Pleasant Grove. Sponsored by the Jaycees and Fiesta Madre Club the event runs May 4 at Pleasant Grove High School with Bonnie Bullock daughter of Mr and Mrs Orval Bullock a 1967 graduate employed at the Bank of Pleasant Grove and a former junior varsity and varsity cheerleader who teaches a Sunday School class and lists flute as a special interest.

Grant Richards Elected BYU Student Body President
Grant Richards of Pleasant Grove, 23, BYU senior, was elected student body president last Thursday. He won 5,050 votes from 9,187 ballots cast, 1,023 ahead of Merwin Grant of St. Johns Arizona. Richards, current vice president of academics, will graduate this spring and will pursue graduate study at BYU in communications.
