Electric Plant Near Hanoi Hit By Jets
UPI reports U.S. war planes bombed Hanoi area targets including a large electric power plant and two MIG bases in North Vietnam. One Bound Over To Circuit Court On Assault Charge
A Fort Walton Beach judge bound Jimmy Dixson of 119 Keni Place over to circuit court after a Saturday morning hearing for assault with a deadly weapon involving a knife that hospitalised his wife. Bond set at 500 dollars. Morris Paul of 316 Lovejoy Road paid an 850 dollar fine for assault and battery. Phillip R. Hatter of Hurlburt Field chose 30 days in county jail over a 100 dollar fine for disposing of mortgaged property without consent. Randy Covert of Hurlburt Field pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and was fined 150 dollars. Pearlie Mae White and Cora Lee Cawarl, both of Fort Walton Beach addresses, were fined 25 dollars each for disturbing the peace. A neighborhood conflict sparked the complaints. Mary Troutman of 412 Westminster was placed on six months probation for reckless driving by speeding, with neighbors testifying she repeatedly endangered children by high speeds through a residential area.

New Sewage Pipeline Plan Faces Federal Permit

Three Auto Crashes in Three Hours Shock Niceville
Three accidents occurred within three hours on Saturday in Niceville. Shirley Barfield 23 of 513 John Sims Parkway caused a crash on Kelly Road and Parkway, with her car owned by James Merker 18th TE Squadron at Telin AFB. Barfield was treated for injuries and charged with DUI and license violation. Merker faced a charge for permitting an unauthorized driver. A 16 year old from Valparaiso hit a car driven by Lynn Reardon Cower, with about 200 dollars in damage and the teen charged with failing to control. The third crash at Highway 20 and 285 involved Pauline Gilmore Gilmer and Myr Brown. Gilmore was charged with failure to keep control and causing the accident.
