Floridians posted a 1970 average income of 3584 dollars, up six percent from 1969, yet trailed the national average of 3910 by 326 dollars. Vietnam Vet Testifies At War Atrocity Inquiry

Oldest Feller Earns Diploma at 73 in Kentucky
Boons Camp Kentucky AP Lee Ward, a farmer, teacher, and pipeline worker now 73, earned his high school diploma. He plans to enroll in community college next fall. Despite being the oldest adult education student, Ward placed second on the GED exam and received his diploma Friday night. His sister Billie Edith Ward taught him and is among his former students. Ward, who left school after eighth grade to teach briefly, later worked in pipelines and farming, and retired eight years ago. He never married.
