United Fund Adds Four Agencies in Okaloosa Drive
At a meeting in the Eglin Officers Club four agencies joined the Okaloosa County United Fund 1972 drive. They are the Boys Club of the Playground Area Inc directed by Bob Thompson, the Okaloosa County Council on Aging Inc directed by Mrs Patricia Quickle, the Okaloosa Guidance Clinic Inc directed by Dr Peter Krones, and the Okaloosa County Comprehensive Child Day Care Program directed by Mrs Alice Starkey. The fund now has 17 participating agencies. UF president Eulice Shelley presided as Lloyd Turner noted growing agency interest. Andy Erickson chaired the budget and admissions committee which recommended the additions. Col Richard Easley was thanked for arranging the meeting.
