Fay King of the Silver Beach Gas Station in Destin reported a burglary during the night with entry through a broken back window. Stolen items included inner tubes an electric saw cigarettes canned meats sun lotion sunglasses pocket combs ice chests cash and coins amounting to 110 dollars in change plus 30 dollars in half dollars and Liberty head dimes and possibly tires. Chief Inspector Driscoll Oglesby joined the investigation noting tire and footprints outside the window and that a full inventory is needed to gauge total losses.
