Queen Contest Rules Listed
Official rules for the Miss Billy Bowlegs Beauty Queen Contest announced by Mrs. Lee Terrell. Contestants must be single ages 16 to 20 and wear a one piece black bathing suit black shoes and a pirate costume for the Bowlegs Krewe landing on June 8. All must be at the Spindrift Restaurant boat landing by 3 pm for eligibility. The crowning takes place at Municipal Auditorium at 8 pm on June 10 with contestants arriving by 7:15 pm. practice is at 3:15 pm Sunday at the auditorium. For information call Mrs. Lee Terrell at 243-8898. Last year's winner Miss Shelly Knowles of Pensacola will crown this year's winner.

Okaloosa County voters cast ballots today to nominate party choices for the November election and to decide on a Florida Constitution amendment enabling school boards to appoint county school superintendents after a local referendum. Niceville Council Plans Sewer Project Meeting
Niceville city officials plan a special session at City Hall at 7 30 p m with J B McCreary and Company Augusta Georgia to negotiate a firm price for sewer improvements and extension project. The move raises project cost to about 226 300 with a 7 300 labor cost increase while a 219 000 work order was approved earlier. Engineers Polyengineering Inc of Dothan Alabama will supervise plans and a company representative is expected at the meeting.

Dyson Wins Okaloosa Crestview High Bid
The Okaloosa County School Board approved Dyson and Company's $1,801,786 bid for Crestview Senior High School pending Housing and Urban Development clearance. Other bids totaled $1.832 million from K. Chavis and $1.825 million from Martin Johnson. Dyson, already building Okaloosa Walton Junior College, has finished Choctawhatchee Senior High School and plans air conditioned rooms at Combs and a Niceville Senior High School field house.
