The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber reports plans for the Billy Bowlegs Festival including a ski and golf tournament children’s treasure hunt pirates market and large fireworks. The Plantation Ball April 3 at the Okaloosa Island Holiday Inn has tickets nearly sold out with 25 singles left. The festival runs June 5-13 with 100 boats from River Rats staging the pirate landing. Clean-Up Paint-Up Week runs April 29 to May 3 and fire department and STOP will participate.
