Three Murder Trials Set In Circuit Court
Three murder trials are slated for Circuit Court in Crestview next week. James Ramsey of Crestview, Jessie Cole of Atalla Alabama, and Earl Shaw of Fort Walton Beach face major offenses. Cole’s Friday trial concerns a New Year’s Eve 1966 shooting in a Fort Walton Beach trailer that killed Bernie Whiteside. Service For Airport Is Announced

One Man Killed Three Hurt In Collision Near Miramar
One man was killed and three injured in a head on collision Thursday at 5:15 p.m. two miles east of Miramar Beach in Walton County along Highway 98. The deceased was Earl G. Woelfel Jr. of Austin Minnesota. Injured were Elton Stephens of Birmingham Alabama Peter Brouwer of Panama City Florida and Hampton Smith of Birmingham. Stephens was listed in critical condition at Baptist Hospital Pensacola. The other two were treated for lacerations at Fort Walton Beach Hospital and released. Both cars were demolished one car was on fire and responders fought the blaze.
