Floyd Thompson the longest-held POW and 25 other freed POWs arrived in the mainland United States, completing repatriation of over three quarters of Americans held by North Vietnam and the Viet Cong. A C-141 Starlifter landed at Travis AFB with three men aboard. about 300 greeted them in the rain.
