Florida voters in Okaloosa County were reminded that 4238 names were purged from the registration books. Registration remains open until April 6 and again after the primaries until October 5. Registration centers include the county courthouse Crestview, Island Authority building on Okaloosa Island, and Brooks Plaza March 26-30 and April 6. The first primary is May 7, with runoff May 28 and general election November 5. Voters must declare a party to participate in primaries. independents cannot vote in primaries. County offices open for election include county commissioners districts 1, 3, and 5 and superintendent of public instruction.
