A two car crash at 9 50 a m Sunday at Mooney and Race Track Roads left six people injured all passengers in the sedan and brought to Fort Walton Beach Hospital Odell Bailey 39 Jo Ann Bailey 5 Dolly Adkinson 64 Keith Bailey 7 and Dorothy Bailey 9 were treated and released Earl Beasley driver of the sports car received emergency care and was transferred to Eglin AFB Hospital Beasley was charged with failure to yield right of way after turning left from Mooney Road into Race Track Road and colliding with the sedan The Highway Patrol investigated the incident.

Seaman Charged With Taking Auto From Lot
A 20 year old U S Navy man Everett L Gardner attached to the USS Markab at Long Beach California was charged after breaking into a car lot on Eglin Parkway and removing a car without permission. Deputy Sheriff Joe Johnson spotted Gardner driving away from Tyndal and Fulton Motor Co and pursued. Gardner fled in a second car but was stopped just north of Shalimar.

A gang of Africans armed with clubs attacked 18 members of the National Retired Teachers Association of America in Salisbury.
